I’ve spent the majority of my life pursuing both personal and spiritual development and studying the mind-body connection. Breathwork, slow living and embodiment practices have had a profound impact on my health, personal fulfillment and overall well-being. My life’s mission and purpose now is to inspire and support women in midlife in releasing the anxiety/fear/overwhelm they’ve been carrying and experience MORE in the best years of their life. Within our community, we guide women in slowing down, simplifying and creating rituals and rhythms that help cultivate the thoughts, the feelings, the relationships and the spaciousness they want in their next season of life. My intention is to illuminate the power of breath, faith and embodied living for deep healing, purpose and emotional freedom. The more we heal ourselves, the more we heal our community and our world.

 Hi there, I’m Julie!

Originally an Oklahoma girl, I have lived in the suburbs of Denver for the last 25+ years, with my two (now grown) children and our sheepadoodle, Presley. I am forever grateful to get to live in this glorious state and call Colorado home.

As a life-long wellness enthusiast, follower of Jesus and personal growth fanatic, the path to teaching breathwork has been both soul-fulfilling and divinely led. Several years ago I experienced the frightening effects of chronic stress on the body, landing me in a neurology office, convinced I had either multiple sclerosis or a brain tumor. As they say, “the body keeps the score.” Thankfully, I learned that my brain was perfectly healthy, but this was a giant wake up call for me and the catalyst for making some personal and professional changes in my life. I was committed to finding a healthy and natural way to manage my stress more effectively and sustainably. Yoga, plenty of rest and healthy living had always been my go to, but I was still missing something. 

I prayed… A LOT…. and dove into studying and practicing meditation, read countless books on neuroscience and the effects of stress on the brain and body, listened to hundreds of wellness podcasts, took personal retreats and finally…discovered breathwork. I studied the effects of proper diaphragmatic breathing on health and emotional well-being and received my first certification from one of my gifted mentors, Dr. Belisa Vranich. I then went on to explore the other side of breathwork ~ deep, conscious, meditative breathing for transformation and healing. This led to a 7 month journey studying and practicing meditative breathing with Pause Breathwork, where I earned my second certification. I’ve since gone on to study embodiment work through The School of Embodied Arts and am now a certified Feminine Embodiment Coach as well.

My work is truly a reflection of my commitment to my own health and well-being. The impact that breathwork and embodiment practices have had on my life has been nothing short of extraordinary. Besides finding my life’s purpose of mentoring and guiding women, I now feel empowered to easily and effectively calm my nervous system within seconds and reconnect to my body. I have experienced deep emotional healing and am attuned to my inner wisdom (my Truth) and to the Holy Spirit in a way that I never imagined. This work has enriched my relationships, my life, my impact, my spiritual development and faith, and my overall sense of well-being. I can’t help but share it with everyone and spread the LOVE.
